 In conversation with a Vicar he quoted me this as above from PROVERBS 3:5 and the rest of the text, as he felt I had Buddhistic and scientific leanings, I replied I am no authority of Buddhism or science and I certainly cannot speak for those in Buddhism or Science and can put forward my own view from my experiences.

I told him I felt that as far as I have heard read Jesus said ' "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid" (John 14:27, and I have heard it was said that peace that passes all human understanding.

Well of course you have heard and read of my feelings about inculcation, brain washing and the conditioned mind (In April 2026 I will be doing a full explanation on www.geoff freed.com or online) I then went into my spiel as in article in brackets and he went away with deep frowns and said he would get back to me.

Basically everything we know are other people ideas and modified over different epochs we are mostly cloned minds. When human understanding or thoughts are suspended in inner bliss and peace, we lean not to our own understanding.

SHACK 4165 SECRET PLACE

 Again as in previous Shack the Vicar and I got into 'the secret place of the Most High' He said in deep and earnest prayer he felt he entered a different Dimension, I felt the same in meditation and that Stillness was the highest form of prayer. We had a chat about deity and he prayed to Jesus and I have done on many occasions as well as Krishna and Buddha, however I felt the formless prayer or just to sit in stillness was for me the way I felt more comfortable.

The Secret Place for me was when thought naturally was absence not by suppression or act of will perhaps just surrendering to the quiet mind as natural as possible and perhaps acknowledging 'thy will be done or may my will be in tune with the Great Spirits Will' and the absence of images, not that Jesus, Buddha, Krishna images are displeasing but in that quiet empty space the spirt is felt behind the symbols that the pictures represent, they are human figures and images and in my view I need to get to the essence and feel the presence of that which is Most High.

We agreed to disagree and he felt I was a little if not wholly arrogant and that being a monotheist was somehow not a complete spiritual person.
