During my hospice experiences I have seen many peaceful transitions and some that troubled. I had friends and patients who sensed their impending passing a colleague of mine lay in the upstairs room in a coma, he suddenly appeared at the top of the stairs and called his wife, Alice ran to the foot of the stairs and went up to his room as he went back and was dead on her arrival, Deepak Chopra recounts the extraordinary passing of his Dad and there are many such and varied experiences.
Then I had three dear ones who came out their coma, morphine induced pain relief or deep sleep and said to their love ones as their expression on their faces shone and they said in a strong voice ' this is wonderful', 'no need to fear' 'Hey I going home, its wonderful' and in a back article there are more than enough amazing stories.
In my NDE in 1942 I have said I saw this light and did not want to come to Earth, the peace and the warmth and utter love embraced me, whoever the experiencer was as I was four years old and did not have a sense of self as of now. So this disembodied witness was an intelligence before completely 'birthed and grounded in a body' and from the expressions and the feel of the departing witness entity I assume they felt the light as I did all those years back.
I get a touch of this when I meditate as described in SHACK ? one back.
So I hope my transition will take me peacefully back to the light, actually I am in that light in meditation and so I guess I have mini deaths, I do get a sense of a presence around me, it is hard to explain, however this is well beyond words and words and trying to explain somehow shifts into logic and limitation. I die to the world in meditation so I die before the ultimate death, so there is no death really just leaving the intellect and busy brain, all that dies is the past.
SHACK
