I love quotes and verses and cheekily and audaciously put the a meaning to that, that flashes across my mind these can be from all sources; from pop songs, films, bibles and so on. This one from Revelations 3.2
Revelation 3:20
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
At times I have a feeling as if I were to be drawn into a great pool of quietness and this I equate to 'hearing the voice' and the drawing down and 'opening the door' and as I merge with this quietness I feel this 'supping' with 'HIM'. HIM being Spirit and 'ME' being the witness as the awareness in this.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John:14.7 This peace seems to me as as the same as the above. Here 'I' is the Spirit. To me Spirit is consciousness, awareness, Life as the expression 'we are the conscious expression of the Universe being aware of Itself ' We are self aware of ourselves. The Universe is Self Aware of Itself.
