It’s not easy as you touch your body, hug your
partner and children, cut your finger, have joint pains, get sick, have a win
in a gambling session, eat delicious food, make love, have highs and lows, the
weather, wars, history, religion,
science all confirming we are and solid, real, this is it, when you die where do you go if there is a you, so have a great time now, no regrets
as this solid lump of a body and concrete world just crumbles and then
oblivion.
Then there are a bunch of scientists telling us we
are a bunch of atoms that are more or less empty and even more incredible at
the atomic level most aspects of it are unpredictable. It’s enough to send a
good man to drink!!!
Spiritualists and psychics, some gurus and masters
tell us we are eternal beings which are only temporarily housed in a human and
on death the real me is released. So the
essence of life takes residence in the human form and rejoins the mainstream
life energy. Then there is this notion
that solids of various objects organic or not organic are like for instance; an
atom being a sardine and all forms are different packed sardines in various
densities. When we die we merely become less packed and have a more transparent
body, spaces between the sardines.
So what formed the sardine(s) brought them
together in a tin, the tin being analogous with any form chosen and it is said
this is the higher self or soul, which is like a chip off of the old block.
Be that as it may all of the above are
explanations and choices of which there are many more. Which one appeals, most likely the ones that
fit the life experiences and afford a modicum of safety and pleasure with a
foundation, a sound base and platform to build a life around.
Since this world and its commodity for change and
at best uncertainty although ones choice has safety nets and insurances, one
way of certainty is to make a friend of change.
The here today and gone tomorrow, here a while-----enjoy----let go----move
on, perhaps this approach allows for the ever new to arrive, it does not allow
stagnation for stagnation forces change reluctantly as it decays and causes
extreme consternation.
The Universe is in constant flux and change albeit it can be millions of years down to weeks, days and minutes depending on the form
created and the life styles and spans of years of that style and is arbitrary.
Maybe the lesson from this is to accept change
when it arrives, perhaps not to encourage it for living as life has it, then
life has it’s own way to do it for one, the growth from foetus to senior life shows us
this, the increments of change maybe chaotic in its ‘spurts’ of the growth and
the in-between stages as the form sheds its debris to build the new form.
As an example the dissolving process of change as
in foetus to baby to childhood to adolescence then to senior life and beyond
and all that accompanies this in hormonal change and the like can be
challenging.
At these times being relaxed, breathing gently and
fully in a Yogic and Qi Gong Way, stretching and attuning to the body one may
begin to feel with sensitivity brought about by a listening feeling approach a
faint almost imperceptible ‘a deep fundamental movement, a process in process’,
utmost patience is required.
At these particular times upheavals and certain
level of chaos are apparent, these maybe alchemical in its performance to
facilitate the new form and perhaps if one accepts this part of the process and
to wait patiently observe quietly without judgement, for opinion may alter the
course of the deep process which is beyond everyday senses and expect the
unexpected and who knows it maybe exactly what is the best for everyone
everywhere.
For sure if one view is everything is solid and
immovable until collapses with old age and decrepit dotage then indeed it is
uneasy and makes one squirm
