SHACK 530 IN THE GROOVE

Scott B Harris

Dreaming maybe because of the past experiences whether it be from this life of a collective picture  or, emotional slides, you’re own, life experiences or the far distant such as incarnations and perhaps even the collective unconscious.

Over the years of dreaming through time, and time maybe the space between dreams, and the repetition of these dreams many just a variation of a theme, a modification or reconfiguration, a makeover, a cosmetic paint job, then we arrive at the same old gooseberry; is life an illusion based on dreams which by repetition convince us that this is a solid reality, we have formed grooves and are indeed in the groove.

There is this triangle of blame; Victim at the apex, at the right side, blame a person, circumstance and so on, then on the left the rescuer, knight in shining white armour and so on. One becomes trapped, they, it, did this to me, I repeat the dream, the experience and the grooves become indelible  and imprinted in my mind.

Like waking up from sleep and dreaming and sometimes its influence stays with us or is quickly forgotten an illusion, a TV screen shot gone. We then carry on with our daily so called awake dream, only we do not see it as a dream because of the familiarity and security it affords us. But it is not a dream by choice it is an unconscious habit to choose and accept this dream as reality.  One did not have a choice it was automatic and reactive.  This brings with it a sense of me, you, us and we go through the daily routine as if it were for real.

What if we awake to the fact this is a dream, our very daily mundane existence is but a dream, chosen unconsciously by the hurts, frustrations, joys, sorrows and so on and the world population reinforcing those dreams, a mass dreamer through the collective unconscious, a huge tide of agreed dreaming sculpted by religion, politics, culture, parents, books, education and the human condition and to be out of the tenacious vice like grip of this dream, this matrix is like a leaf in the ocean or hurricane, literally swimming against the tide and then reluctantly being overcome by the massive energy that super glues this together. Blame of the past of course is the a huge factor in keeping the status qua in situ, although we know it we still look for a rescuer and the rescuer may also be crafted by the dream, relief for a while until the haunting comes back.

Maybe there is another triangle; At the apex there is me and I, the right hand corner is choice and the left corner either a new dream or let the Universe decide.  This model suggests when we wake up we remind ourselves we have been asleep and that our seemingly awake state is another dream and the right hand corner says we have a choice, we can either go along with the day knowing this a dream working its way out or we can go to the left hand corner and realise we can start by intention and deliberately imagining the dream we would like to have come to reality, this then comes into the realm of visualisation or allowing the Source of Life in meditation and no mind to bring life to me, you, us.

By the awareness which breaks the dream we can then realise all Life is a dream and the energy is supplied by the Invisible Life Force.  Electricity is a invisible energy and can be used for TV, bombs, refrigerators, cars, human life and so on. It is neutral it is the CHOICE one puts it too.  So one re-energises the dream and perpetuates it and it becomes solid by repetition and forms grooves, synapses neurons and the like and the brain only replays it time and time again at one’s request giving one the satisfaction of security and the known. The request is automatic a mere built in habit.

One can now comprehend the Universe as we see it with our human senses is a dream of some unknown dreamer who has given to its dream the gift of dreaming, we are the dream of that dreamer, follow the Universal Dreamer or go our own dream.

By now one might come to a sort of conclusion that the brain does not know the difference between a ‘sleep’ dream and the ‘living dream of every day so called awake life’ and it seems all is lucid dreaming and illusionary. The only nebulous reality is the mind behind the dream, be it Cosmic or personal. The personal life is limited if one dream as in one incarnation and even swapping dreams in this incarnation it is still in the dream of an encapsulated flesh body.  It is like having the flesh body as TV like, and one merely swaps channels, it takes a lot of reminding oneself that this is a temporary dream, life is transient and what is the best dream to have.

Shamans have a practice where on awakening they remind themselves they might die today, this thought horrifies some as most people run away from this thought. So what would we do today if were were to recognise 'today is the last day' of this life?  Many a shock or serious illnesses can awaken one to this.  Perhaps that what shocks and  is life threatening events are brought for.

I have mentioned many times the experiment of the placebo and then experiments in which persons went to the gym and learnt a routine whilst others visualised the movements and time spent in the gym, it takes effort and determination and dedication, the results were astounding the visualises actually benefited a little more than the gym people.  This was done in Sweden.

Now then perhaps the decision is yours and as you are the dreamer it OK to dream another dream as long as you realise it is a dream whether in the body and or when passing out of the body also realising that the great Galaxies and Stars, Planets and all will pass in this reality and on death of the body and the physical senses gone, what if any will be the dream then and perhaps if the dreams of this incarnation are strong enough, grooved and etched into one computer brain, then the soft ware is carried over and we are off dreaming the same dream in a another flesh body and that’s OK and why history repeats itself.

The choice is ours. The choice is to awaken to choice.

There are other views such as; Repetition is the Mother of Education and Repetition is the key to learning New Skills.  That's OK as long as one remembers it dies with you and is temporary. SHACK
