POST 473 THE POST

                     An old Zen saying 'tied to a post without a rope'.

So what is it that binds one to habit and old painful outworn ideas  and ways of life, dissatisfaction and grief or even pleasures when not available bring a sense of loss?

Where is the Post or the rope, they are merely ideas in the mind and where is the mind---the brain---cut out the brain------that's extreme.  Perhaps deaden the mind with drugs or other distractions.  Brain scans can only show bits of the brain at work, it  is not the mind. If you believe in the mind which is another invisible thing tied to an invisible post that the brain is you and NDE, life after death and psychic stuff are just ideas in a flesh brain made of atoms and cholesterol, hormones and blood then these pieces of flesh must be intelligent, then who programmed them?

When you were a baby before they got at you and you became full of ideas and lost your awareness and said these ideas are mine and not my awareness of them consciously so you lost your awareness and bottled it up in a self created mind called ego and gave that ego a name and identity and so became unconscious.  So you created a Post a so called solid in the mind ego named Shack, George, Angela, Geoff, Karen and millions of other names and the habit and familiarity became known and safe and this was the tether and rope.  

UH! to dismantle it? Maybe you are so entwined, solid and safe that you do not want to dismantle it, and who could blame you, it is a daunting and fearful task, for everything you have ever known is but a learnt, taught, tutored, programmed, brainwashed and conditioned fact, every experience is a past dream, stored in a memory box which is part of the brain or mind, which may not be in the brain, the brain being just a sophisticated TV, RADIO COMPUTER, and the invisible awareness uses it as such. The problem is we take the TV and so on as real.  We know everything in the Universe is made up of atoms which are 99.99% space, empty and everything is made up of vibrations and frequencies so we live in a empty Universe which is 99.99% empty and that emptiness is Intelligence the real Mind.

So how can one be tied to an invisible mind which is empty and a post which was created by an invisible mind and so the post  is invisible as well?
